Agile Coach

    Can you help us change the company mind-set and make us more Agile? As a fast-growing eCommerce company we need to eat, sleep and drink Agile and we need an Agile Coach to help us on our journey from start-up environment to maturity. We believe in autonomous, self-supporting development teams who help our customers buy the best fitting suit they'll ever wear, and wow them at every step of the way.

    Your challenge as an Agile Coach will be to increase the velocity and productivity of our IT development teams (70 FTE's) while introducing the "fun factor". The goal of an Agile Coach is to improve teams of developers and overall project management by increasing collaboration, innovation, and introducing techniques that promote adaptability and flexibility in the face of unpredictable circumstances.

    What can you expect to work on?

    • Educate employees at all levels, including senior, and at times clients, on Agile principles
    • Providing them with tools for implementing the process in their own work
    • Responsible for guiding teams into the Agile methodology
    • Hands-on support to all employees
    • Designing a strategy for the organizational adoption of Agile
    • Implementing Agile process, principles and practices across all levels and departments in an organization
    • Use techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation
    • Lead by example

    This job might be for you if you are:

    • Energetic, engaging and action-driven
    • Demonstrating strong knowledge of and background with Agile concepts
    • Possessing prior experience coaching teams in Agile adoption or as a Scrum Master
    • Having programming experience and showing proficiency in relevant programming languages
    • Scrum Coach and / or Scrum Master certification
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in related field

    When are you doing a good job?

    • Changing the company's mind-set to Agile
    • Providing expert consulting on process evaluations and developing recommendations by use of benchmarks, pilots, prototyping and modeling to assess potential use of new methods and workflows
    • Motivating, leading and coaching in-house teams in the agile way of working and ensuring consistent predictability
    • Mentoring, educating and training in-house scrum masters on the use of techniques, methods and tools of agile in both Kanban and Scrum
