    As a Category lead at Suitsupply, there are few things that will distract you or your team from efficiently bringing the most exciting and expertly crafted assortment. You will drive all aspects of your category in the digital and physical space.

    Your Typical day includes / What can you expect to work on?

    • Lead competition, trend & market analysis to develop new product, regional &channel strategies.
    • Ensure category strategy is executed according to the plan by aligning buying, planning, allocation, online merchandise, design, store development, and stores.
    • Drive the team to ensure key buying and production milestones in the go-to-market calendar are met. E.g. Post seasonal analysis, design brief, collection build-up, ordering and negotiation, production planning.
    • Drive the business commercially through; weekly trade meetings, ensuring the
    • communication plan is commercial and appropriate and reacting to trends in-season through repeat orders, order adjustments & stock transfers (inter & intra-regional).
    • Focus on product and customer ensuring we deliver the best quality & aesthetic at the best price for our customer.
    • Present category strategy and new assortments at the seasonal range presentations.
    • Manage and monitor product deliveries to ensure intake flow is in-line with customer needs and budget.
    • Coach, mentor, and develop the team.
    • Regularly work in-store to maintain a close relationship and understanding with our customers

    This job might be for you if you have:

    • 10+ years of experience in menswear (Buying, merchandising, planning, allocation production).
    • 5+ years managing/leading a team. Ability to coach and mentor.
    • Men's formalwear/ tailoring experience
    • Proactive with a track record of developing and executing customer-focused product strategies that elevate our brand, build customer loyalty, and are financially viable
    • Analytical mindset and the ability to synthesize data from multiple different sources.
    • Ability to maintain a wide span of control as you will be managing a multi-disciplinary team including Merchandising, planning, allocation & online merchandising while working cross-functionally with Production, logistics, design & stores.
    • Relationship management - both internal and external, able to negotiate while building strong, long term sustainable partnerships.
    • Expert in assortment planning and range development.
    • Knowledge of vertical product management/development.
    • Strong sense of style and a deep awareness of menswear trends
    • Ability to develop strong customer communications and plans.
    • Leadership capacity. Strong, clear communicator who can u201cget people on boardu201d
    • A passion for (men's) tailoring
    • Strives in a fast-paced environment while still focusing on multi-tasking
