Custom Made Production Manager

    We're looking for a new Production Manager to work within and manage our Custom Made team. Are you an independently working, highly accurate, problem-solving person who knows how to work with tight delivery schedules? Then you could potentially be what we are looking for
    In this role, you will be fully responsible for the production of all Custom Made products. You will manage a team of 2 fulltime production coordinators. Together with your team you are responsible for the complete production cycle: ordering fabrics and relationship management with our mills, managing the production lead times and quality with our factory and manage expectations with our biggest stakeholders: Stores and Customers
    We expect you to not only maintain our current production flow but make it better and more efficient along the way. Serving our customers better and faster is the ultimate goal. We're looking for someone who can work independently but also is an expert in stakeholder management as in this role you will be in touch with a lot of other parts of our business such as: Online Merchandise, Merchandise, IT and Customer Service. On top of that we're looking for someone who is hands on, driven and very passionate. You should also have experience with managing a team and have at least 5 years of experience
    This position is based at our Amsterdam headquarters. We're looking for someone living in the Netherlands or who is willing to relocate to the Netherlands. Fluency in English (writing and speaking) is an absolute must

    Your typical week includes:

    • Production management
      • Updating stakeholders on any major changes
      • Monitor QC performance from factories
      • Manage team of 2 FT to get all questions answered and tasks done
    • Adjust current processes to decrease manual work and error-prone work
      • Analyze current production process
      • Notice what can be improved and implement changes where possible/necessary
    • Create a long-term vision for Custom Made production
    • Update stakeholders in weekly meeting on production status, possible risks and major changes

    This job might be for you if:

    • You have 5+ years experience, preferably in (men's) tailoring in buying and/or production
    • You have a good understanding of our product and are enthusiastic about tailoring
    • You have at least 3 years experience in managing a team of 2 or more people
    • You are detail orientated
    • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are not afraid to speak your mind
    • You have excellent communication skills
    • You have excellent analytical skills
    • You have a problem-solving mindset
    • You have a critical mindset and can ask the right questions to make processes better
    • Are available full-time
