Data Engineer

    The Management Information team is responsible for providing fast and actionable insights across the Suitsupply organization. We have a crucial role in supporting the entire business in making data-driven decisions.
    Join us as Data Engineer and take ownership of setting up our new cloud-based data platform. Transform business requirements into technical design, implementing robust and scalable data flows and dimensional data models.

    Your Typical day includes:

    • Work with the Product Owner and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain data models enabling analytics and reporting across the company
    • Experience working with Azure applications and services including SQL database, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Analysis Services and Databricks with focus on performance, reliability and scalability
    • Identify, validate, and ingest new data sources
    • Take a cloud-native architecture approach when designing and developing data pipelines
    • Develop robust data models to support interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting/analytics tools
    • Make decisions regarding the right tools and technology stack to grow and develop a cloud-based data platform

    This job might be for you if you have:

    • 3 years of experience working in data platform projects
    • Experience creating data models supporting complex reports and dashboards for different business functions using Power BI and other reporting tools
    • Solid experience creating complex transformations using T-SQL and DAX
    • Desire to learn and work with new and emerging cloud technologies and frameworks
    • You like to have fun with your team and enjoy shipping products that impact the strategic direction of the company!

    Your success will be measured by:

    • You successfully delivered end-to-end solutions including building the data pipeline and developing the data model to support interactive dashboards and analytics use cases across the organization
    • You are in control of the data flows, including design, development, testing, release and monitoring
    • Collaborate closely with the Advanced Analytics team, and other business stakeholders, to provide solutions tailored to their needs
    • You are prototyping and validating the adoption of new tools, together with the Product Owner and stakeholders
    • You have a continuous learning mindset, including actions from your development plan in your daily activities
