Global Head of Store Development

    • Reporting to the Founder and CEO, the Global Head of Store Development is responsible for setting the strategic direction for all construction-related real estate development activities for new stores, relocations, expansions, and remodels as well as management of facilities initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the critical path along with key milestones and events, working cross-functionally to analyze costs, determine root causes of variances, understand trends, project forecasts, create and maintain transparent reporting and create action plans for achieving annual budgets; responsible for achieving P&L budgets and savings targets; responsible for continuously improving processes and providing recommendations for long term capital investments; responsible for leading internal teams and external vendors.

      • Responsible for creating and maintaining a fiscal year Capital Expenditure budget and schedule, identifying deviations and proactively recommends corrective measures to address budget variances. Holds teams accountable to project budgets and accurate forecasts.
      • Responsible for overseeing and managing the on-time delivery of construction project schedules within approved budget allocations in accordance with company plans, standards, reporting, policies and procedures.
      • Responsible for managing and reducing total cost of ownership. Participate and assist in maintaining or reducing cost-to-build, manage RFP's, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing to reduce cost per transaction, ultimately influencing long term capital investment plans to meet corporate sustainability goals.
      • Oversee retail stores preventive maintenance programs, as well as develop strategic initiatives and proactive programs to improve service delivery and manage repair issues for existing stores.
      • Develop and oversee reporting tools to assist in management of services, such as work order variance reporting, vendor score card, store inventory and other reporting.
      • Partner with cross-functional departments (Store Design, Real Estate, Legal, Finance, Store Operations, etc.) to evaluate policies and procedures, continuously improve processes or develop strategies to meet company goals.
      • Manage all company supplied vendors, project managers, and other outsource partners to ensure performance and delivery of company responsible items and schedules.
      • Lead and develop team of professionals to provide excellent service to internal and external customers with high engagement. Building and fostering a high-quality, diverse and globally oriented team and work culture.
      • Perform special projects as assigned.
      • Ensure full implementation of Service Channel software.
      Mentor and coach employees to ensure achievement of company goals or objectives along with personal growth.

    About You:
    • Bachelor's Degree and Minimum 10 years' experience of related project management experience.
    • Experience in construction project management at both the technical and strategic level (planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
    • Experience in facilities management, current industry practices and standards.
    • Experience in Service Channel ideal, our main facilities management resource.
    • Experience creating, managing, and administering construction budgets and change orders.
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and other scheduling programs (e.g. MS Project).
    • Ability to prioritize and anticipate issues; ability to handle multiple tasks.
    • Ability to work with little to no supervision and comfortable with collaborating with various internal and external partners.
    • Must have strong organizational skills along with attention to detail.
    • Extensive travel and ability to be on call after hours and weekends for emergencies is required.
