Suitsupply is looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner with a high energy level, strong pragmatic mindset and the ability to effectively partner with our regional and store management as well as employees in France. Are you passionate about HR, a fast adapter and a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset? You should be comfortable acting as a trusted business partner to management and working closely with the appropriate HR peers on key initiatives that will drive operational efficiency, improve overall quality and take cost out of the operations.

    What can you expect to work on?

    Unburden store management enabling them to focus on sales

    • Trusted advisor to store management on people related issues
    • Deal with full range of operational HR activities, including onboarding, disciplinaries and dismissals
    • Go to person for confidential issues with employees

    Local Knowledge

    • Pro-actively identify local legislation issues
    • Get to know people and pro-actively identify HR issues
    • Advise Regional Management on local HR related matters
    • (External) communication in both French and English

    HR Processes/Efficiency

    • Standardize and document (local) HR processes
    • Be first point of HR contact for stores within the region
    • Be the linking pin and point of contact between Regional and Store Management and HR at HQ in Amsterdam, as well as with local authorities
    • Support and instruct Store Managers on (local) legislation and HR procedures (e.g. checking ID's, visa, schedules, etc.)

    • Coordinate local selection (recruitment) process between stores and HQ

    This job might be for you if you:

    • Have a degree in HR Management, Business Administration or Employment Law
    • Have good working knowledge of French employment law and HR practices
    • Have at least between 3 and 5 years of hands-on and practical HR experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
    • Are able to travel regularly to our HQ in Amsterdam
    • Experience in a Retail environment
    • Are based in Paris or Iles-de-France area
    • Interpersonal skills and Management skills
    • Are fluent in French & English. Additional European languages (Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish) are a plus
