Buying (Production) Internship

    At Suitsupply we are seeking enthusiastic, hands-on students who are team players and troubleshooters by nature. The perfect Buying Intern has the ability to plan and organise, has an eye for details, and likes to be in a fast-paced environment, no matters if it is about handling the administrative side of production or receiving sample meters or sending parcels to our suppliers.

    Your typical day includes:

    • Working with a team of production coordinators for Suits, Jackets, Coats, Trousers and Vests
    • Focusing on some specific, production-related administrative tasks and making sure they are completed without error
    • Learning about the production process, making sure that all the items planned for the collection will be produced correctly and on time
    • Communicating fabric call offs to the Italian mills and communicating production orders with the Chinese and European manufacturers
    • Keeping and working by our high standards, so the best possible garments are supplied to our customers
    • Receiving and logging sample meters, sending parcels with instructions to our suppliers
    • Sharing other, operational tasks, in cooperation with the team members

    This job might be for you if you have/ are:

    • Ideally fashion-related studies
    • High interest in retail and fashion as well as in various production processes
    • The ability to work accurately and with high quality standards
    • Great Excel and administrative skills
    • Pro-active and teamplayer attitude
    • Fluent English skills
    • Available for +/- 6 months starting August or September
