Logistics Specialist EMEA

    As Logistics Specialist you oversee and manage Suitsupply's global transportation. You will be responsible for booking, coordination and monitoring of sea-air-road and express shipments and any related administrative processes. You are our main operational contact for our freight forwarders, our 2 warehouses, carriers and internal organization in our EMEA market. Your coordination skills and 'can do' attitude will bring Suitsupply and its partners to the next level of this great brand.

    Your typical day includes:

    • Responsible for ensuring that our promises to your stakeholders are met, but also that our 3PLs deliver against their Service Level Agreements.
    • Working on continuous improvement initiatives with the 3PLs to increase efficiency and cost optimization.
    • Anticipation on unforeseen situation, and communicate this clearly to all parties impacted, including clear next steps and expectations.
    • Support express shipments and freight batches from the warehouses to other warehouses or stores directly.
    • Be the point of contact for our Buying teams, Merchandise Allocation, (franchise) stores and external partners concerning inbound and outbound shipments.
    • Monitoring and updating our information systems continuously to ensure that the latest information is known and available for all parties.
    • Be the back-up of your colleagues that look after North America and Asia-Pacific.

    This job might be for you if you have:

    • Preferable already a track-record in a similar role and/or fashion industry.
    • A pro-active and flexible mindset and being able to work in a high-pressure environment.
    • Understanding of customs clearance and regulations.
    • Appreciation for our product and how we position ourselves in the market.
    • A Bachelor or Master degree, preferably related to Supply Chain.

    You will be successful if:

    • You deliver tangible results and drive continuous improvements together with our 3PLs.
    • You are flexible, able to multitask and have a no nonsense mentality.
    • You manage and coordinate peak period (i.e. season switch) in a smooth way.
    • You are structured, proactive and you can communicate (written and verbal) in fluent English.
