Payroll Specialist EMEA

    As an EMEA Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the payroll for multiple entities. This includes running the payroll reports, coordinating and checking the payroll with external vendors, providing final payroll reports and making sure payments are made timely and accurately. You will need to maintain relationships with external payroll vendors as well as internal stakeholders, in this position you will be part of a dynamic, humble and open-minded team based in Amsterdam. The right candidate for this position will be an individual who has a natural intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, flexibility and the desire to drive process improvements.

    Your typical day includes:

    • Ensuring an accurate and timely payroll, including but not limited to: Base salary, payroll taxes, pension, statutory and other company benefits, etc.
    • Being responsible for data validation and resolving discrepancies within tight deadlines.
    • Managing relationships with various global payroll providers with focus on the accuracy and timely receipt of payroll reports.
    • Answering payroll specific queries from employees.
    • Staying up to date with local payroll regulations.
    • Supporting Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities.
    • Supporting various internal and external audits.
    • Providing payroll feedback and data when required to support ongoing HR projects.
    • Replying to tax notices, wage orders, unemployment claims, government correspondences, and verification of employment for international entities.

    This job might be for you if you have:

    • Minimum of 1-3 years' of experience on Netherlands payroll, relevant work experience in an international environment is a plus.
    • Praktijkdiploma salarisadmistratie (PDL).
    • Experience with ADP Streamline.
    • Fluent in Dutch and English.
    • Pro-active attitude, and you are also well organized, flexible and open to new ideas.
