Product Owner Stores


    Help us build a uniquely personal shopping experience in men's - and recently launched women's! - fashion. 90+ stores, 22 countries, a successful global webshop, 1500 employees and 80+ techies. From our unique tailoring apps and inter-store ordering systems to subscription service, from a mobile app to u2018design your own' tailored suit: we're scaling up!
    As Product Owner Stores, you will help us in our journey to becoming the global tailoring expert by creating a vision for the Stores team, the roadmap, and metrics - and support the team to deliver on it. You break complex projects into smart iterations, prototypes and MVP's, and continuously prioritize based on economic value and customer impact.

    Your typical day includes:

    • Stakeholder management (CEO, up until store personnel and IT Servicedesk)
    • Empowering your team and cross-collaborate with other teams across the company to guide the current efforts regarding the technical refactoring of the backend (clarifying user stories, attend daily scrum meetings, discuss dependencies, coach the team)
    • Update and maintain backlog: what should we work on next and why? Current project: implementing a POS system
    • Set up your metrics and your roadmap based on business value
    • Be prepared to travel to our stores worldwide for user testing and for developing an understanding of our retail processes in an intercontinental setup

    This job might be for you if you have:

    • A relevant Master degree
    • 4 - 6 years' Product Owner experience in a retail environment
    • Experience leading, inspiring and coaching Scrum teams
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills
    • Excellent understanding of retail processes and relational databases
    • Work experience in an intercultural environment (feel what people mean and grasp the essence of their needs - internally and externally)
    • Be able to work in a high-pressure environment

    Your success will be measured by:

    • Your technology contributes to a higher turnover
    • Progression on the technical refactoring, a reduced amount of technical debt
    • Technology is more visible in the stores
    • Your ability to run several experiments to validate assumptions
    • You have clear metrics that help you to validate if you are making the right things
